At Elyssium Advanced Skin Care we strive for complete satisfaction of all of our valued clients. We assess each client based on multiple factors, including skin type and hair type, recent sun exposure, medication usage, the presence of lesions or infection, and the type of hair removal performed currently or in the past. We provide laser hair removal treatments at the most effective settings possible, within the bounds of safety. At the first treatment, we will select a setting that is appropriate based on the factors mentioned above. Depending on the immediate response of the skin and hair, we may adjust the settings during the treatment in order to provide the safest, most effective treatment. At each subsequent appointment, we will inquire as to the results of the prior treatment, to note if the hair is finer, sparser or both. We will again adjust settings based on the responses. Please note that for finer hair, settings will often need to be more aggressive to be effective.

At Elyssium we discourage the purchase of single treatments since a series of treatments is always required. If you have received laser hair removal treatments elsewhere in the past, we are willing to work with you to customize a regimen that is both economical and effective. However please note that every laser is different, so we will assess you and determine the appropriate settings as we would with any new client. Therefore, in general, we are unable to consider your prior laser hair removal experience in determining the appropriate settings for your treatment at Elyssium; we will use the same care and caution as we would with any new client. If you believe that you have been treated with a laser that we utilize at Elyssium, please be sure to bring in your medical record from the previous clinic (or you may sign a Medical Records Release Form with us and we can obtain the record) so that we may be able to take your previous settings into account.
